Raumlaborberlin is designing the exhibition Nomadic Furniture 3.0 at the MAK Vienna this June. Taking as reference the publications Nomadic Furniture 1 and 2 by Victor Papanek (1973/74)
this exhibition addresses the DIY movement as a contemporary phenomenon, tracing its origins and development until today. Raumlabor has conceived the entire space as one big workshop space, emphasizing the role of the everyday man in this chapter of design history while simultaneously inciting visitors to participate and build their own furniture.
