The brief was to activate an empty lot in the approach path to Tempelhof airport in Berlin. Its craterlike landscape was to be adapted to become an “alternative public recreation area”. Minimal interventions would have produced open spaces and areas of retreat for bikers and skaters.
Die Brache in der Einflugschneise zum Flughafen Berlin-Tempelhof soll aktiviert werden. Die Geländemodulationen der Kraterlandschaft zielen auf eine „alternative, öffentliche Freizeitaktivierung“. Mit minimalen Eingriffen werden Räume und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für Biker und Skater geschaffen.
